CIECH Group consistently strengthens its position on the market of evaporated salt. CIECH Soda Polska is the first manufacturer of fodder grade salt in Poland which can guarantee the certified GMP+ chain to its largest customers. In this way, CIECH Group becomes the first-choice supplier of fodder grade salt for most demanding fodder manufacturers. This is another certificate obtained by the plant in Janikowo - it earlier received the FSC22000 certificate confirming compliance with quality and safety requirements of food grade salt and with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) food safety system.

CIECH Group, the largest producer of evaporated salt in Poland, intends to introduce further salt products to its offer. In Janikowo near Inowrocław, CIECH will expand the existing salt production plant by adding a new salt granulate production line (used for production of, among others, dishwashers salt) and salt licks for farm animals. Both new products will expand the Group's portfolio of salt products that today includes food and industrial salt and salt tablets. The value of the planned investments will exceed PLN 30 million.

Construction of a new high-bay warehouse is in progress at the CIECH SA plant in Janikowo. The warehouse will be used to store finished products of dry salt (food, industrial, fodder salt and salt tablets). Construction of the warehouse is planned to be completed still in 2017. Ultimately, it will be one of the most modern and automated facilities of its kind in Poland. Salt products are one of the basic product groups offered by CIECH Group.
